Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-08-05T13:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-08-05T13:48:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S11W97
Active Region Number: 13765
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
GAP: Data gap
HAL: Halo CME
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Bright and wide CME where the source is an X1.7 class flare from just behind the west limb, possibly from Active Region 13795 which rotated behind the limb on the previous day. The flare is seen close to the west limb in STEREO EUVI A imagery. The associated eruption is seen right after the flare in SDO AIA/SUVI 304 and is marked by the wide opening of field lines and by a massive restructuring of magnetic field on or behind the limb, as seen in SDO AIA 193/171 and in GOES SUVI 193/284 imagery.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
